“Produced in co-operation with the MuchFACT (A Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent) PromoFACT Award Program, sponsored by M3, a division of Bell Media Inc.”

Quick Update

Hey hey,

Just a quick update on some Words related activities. Since we last touched base we’ve been working hard on some new songs, playing some local show and plowing through the user manuals of some new gear. We’re proud to say that our album Red Potion won the (first ever) Electronic Recording of the Year at the 2013 East Coast Music Awards. We’ll be sticking close to home this summer, but you’ll see us some time in the fall. Now if you’ll excuse us, we have some Gizoogling to do!

Oh and if you’ve found us because of hearing our song Go To Bed on Saving Hope, welcome!

we won an award for filming an awesome cottage party!

People I Love

Every year Ryan & Aaron throw a cottage party.  This summer we shot a video for People I Love at the party.  Two weeks ago we won an award for filming an awesome cottage party at the Music PEI awards!  Big thanks to Millefiore Clarkes and Mikey Wasnidge, not to mention Mearl & Cynthia Crane!  We also won Pop Recording of the Year and Aaron took home the award for Musician of the Year and (unofficially) best acceptance speech of the night/ever.

New news

Hey there interested people,

Seems like website posts are going the way of hand-written letters. At least 12,086 really cool things will happen that you will hear about, before you find your way onto this website. Nevertheless, an update is due, so here we gooooo.

Our new album, Red Potion, has received some award nominations here on the east coast. The album’s up for 4 Music PEI awards and has been nominated for electronic recording of the year at this year’s East Coast Music Awards. We’ll be playing shows at each of these events so check the “Shows” section for details. We’re also going back to Fredericton in February (the 9th) to play one of our favourite venues, The Capital. These are just the fun facts.

In fluffier news, we’re starting to “think” seriously about writing new songs. And that’s a good start! Stay tuned.
